draw for a year’s free subscription to PSS scheme with CSS – 11
November at Giles Restaurant
If you have any queries about the PSS
scheme, would like more information or just haven’t got around to
completing a debit order form, CRA exec members invite you to an
informal information meeting on the deck at Giles Restaurant,
Grafton Ave CHP on Tuesday 11
November from 17:30 to approximately 18:30.
The next draw to win a year’s
subscription @ R385 pm to the PSS scheme will take place shortly
after 18:00 and we’ll include the names of anyone who has signed
up before 18:00.
See if you’re the lucky one and also
come and meet some of the CRA exec and fellow residents.
We are
getting close to the numbers needed for a fourth patrol vehicle,
with our next goal to start on rolling out the cameras. Help us make
this possible sooner than later!

Perhaps you might like to give all the
people named above a big round of applause – they, assisted by
street reps, have put in an enormous amount of voluntary time and
effort on your behalf. We’d be delighted if you would consider
giving a few hours of your time in the next few weeks to encouraging
friends and neighbours to join up.
A
note for residents who use ADT for their armed response
Several residents have informed us that they have recently
received an invoice from ADT which shows an amount due of R182, in
addition to their normal monthly fee. There is no explanation to
indicate what the amount is for but it is possible that ADT is
continuing to bill its clients for the now defunct community
security scheme.
The CRA is taking up the matter with ADT but should you not wish
to pay for two public space security schemes, we would advise you to
check what amounts ADT has debited from your bank account in
November. We will report back to you.
