A very warm welcome to the Craigpark Residents' Association
We regard the suburbs of Craighall and Craighall Park, established over 100 years ago, and still well known for their convenient location, amenities and quality of residential life, as a very special part of Johannesburg.
A community only thrives, however, if its residents are active in its affairs. The CRA, formed more than 50 years ago, plays an extremely important and proactive role in this respect and has become a force to b reckoned with. If you are not already a member, we urge you to become one without delay - who else will look after your interests?

This web site aims to inform residents and businesses about the area, where to obtain help and information, and news on issues and developments that affect us all.
Some of the things we're doing for you
- An SMS alert system was introduced in July 2011. If you haven't received an SMS at all, please contact Wendy McAllister, CRA Communications.
- A recycling programme started in September 2011. Run by Mama She's, it is efficient and inexpensive. To join, click here.
NEWS!! Our area is now over 100 years old this year. Centenary celebrations for our community are scheduled for early March. Please contact Paulette or Wendy if you'd like to be part of the team to help make this a special occasion.

Have you joined up for the CRA's Public Space Security scheme [PSS]? We cannot afford to be apathetic about crime.
Crime remains an unfortunate reality in South Africa today. While our suburbs are not immune from this curse, there many things that we, as a community, can do to reduce crime in our area look at our updated information page. If you wish to report an incident to the CRA Security exec, complete the on-line "crime incident" form.
As with all CRA activities, this website - designed to be an information hub - has been developed by volunteers living in the area. We look forward to your contributions and suggestions.
