- On the City Council's web site is a regular column 'Citichat' by Neil Fraser, a leading urban planner. Citichat is a free weekly publication concerning cities generally and Johannesburg specifically.
- Don’t forget – the CRAIGHALL RIVER MARKET takes place on the second Saturday of each month in the grounds at REEA (09h00-13h00), Marlborough Avenue (next to Colourful Splendour Plant Nursery)
- Domestic Watch meetings – held on the last Friday of each month at the Wesleyan Church hall, Norfolk Ave, CHP, from 12:00 to 13:00.
