NEWS

POPIA

The compliance date for the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 is upon us. This brings forth significant changes to our administration as we now require your consent to keep and use the information in our residents’ database. The personal information we keep is the name, address, telephone number and email address of residents and is required to be accurate. This information is used to send communications, such as newsletters and other relevant information concerning the area and the CRA, and aid us in improving how we look after all residents in our area.

If you would like to continue to receive EMAIL communications from us, as a non member, we need your permission to keep and use your information. All communications will continue to be distributed on WhatsApp, through the StreetReps Group, Facebook and website, so you will be able to see it there too.

We ask that you please take the time to do this by going to the membership page on our website and signing up as a resident non-member (CRA members and residents already registered online do not need to do so again). Alternatively you can email admin@cra.org.za with your details and consent.

All resident information that we do not receive consent to keep and use will be deleted from our database. You can at any time ask for your information to be updated or deleted by sending an email to admin@cra.org.za

CRAIGLANDS REMEDIAL SCHOOL

Did you know there has been a small, independent school situated next to Craighall Primary for over 20 years… Its name is Craiglands Remedial School.

Craiglands caters for children from Grade 1 to Grade 7 who experience problems in mainstream education due to learning difficulties. They focus on the child’s social, emotional and academic growth. These children often respond positively to a small, secure environment, where their needs can be individually addressed. Craiglands aims to be a home away from home where a child feels safe and part of the group.

“A happy child will prosper and learn!”
